Isaac Bower Studio - Earth Water Fire and Air.

Earth, Water, Fire and Air, 2016. A creative re-use project commissioned by Parkhurst Dining for the Corner Mercantile, ground floor of The Tower at PNC Plaza. This wall sculpture was made from terra-cotta facade material saved by PNC when two historic buildings had to be razed to make way for the new tower. Click here for process pictures.

The artwork is installed very near the original location of the buildings that were the source of the terra-cotta.

This vertical part is 1 of about 12 that had to be faux-finished to match the glaze on the bulk of the material.
