SENIORS experience focus, persistence, delight, and connection.

Connect and Create

Cojiform offers people of all ages a unique way connect with each other and with creative process. It invites careful and specific use of the hands, rigorous play, focus, keen observation, and collaboration.

Seniors can build intuitively in freeform ways, or use rule-based, patterned approaches. The latter mode can be intellectually stimulating with progressive levels of challenge built into the system.

When a kit is placed for several weeks, participants can build their skills through repeated engagements. Structured workshops can also be facilitated by founder Isaac Bower, or by staff members of the leasing facility. Support materials are available to help staff led Cojiform activities.

Kits and Events

A kit of the durable and tactile Cojiform parts can be shipped to a facility, typically leased for 2-4 weeks. There are additional components available, such as signage, printed books, prompts, and online tutorial videos.

In southwestern Pennsylvania and the tri-state region, facilities can book founder Isaac Bower to facilitate interactive programing. These workshops or pop-ups can be stand-alone events, or can be planned in conjunction with a kit lease. Email Isaac to discuss the needs of your population.

In addition to sculpture making, photography (see below) can be an additional activity during Cojiform events. Backdrops and lights let participants capture studio-quality photographs using their smartphone. Everything built with Cojiform is temporary: photography allows people to document their work. The photography experience is also another way for participants to engage with their aesthetic sensibilities, creative process, and the formal elements of art. Photos can be shared on social media, including being posted on Instagram, where Cojiform has a robust and global presence.
